Kalamon Olives of Crete In Brine In recent years, experimental crops of olive trees of the Kalamon variety, mainly in Heraklion and Chania, have given us the opportunity to deal with this excellent table olive. Always with respect to its name and tradition, we managed to highlight the Olives of Kalamon Variety of Crete In Brine based on the particular taste of the fruit offered by the different soil and climatic conditions of our island, but also the use of local herbs, such as skin. The average weight of the fruit per piece varies between 2.5-6gr, while its shape is cylindrical.
